Woke up super early (around 5am) to not miss the sights. Watched most of it from our balcony and it was beautiful. We’ve been spoiled by experiencing the Fjords in Norway but this was still marvelous. Unfortunately it was a bit foggy and raining and windy and the tour operator decided last minute to cancel our Endicott Dawes Glacier Explorer excursion (small boat that gets us much closer to the glacier). Oh well, I told my wife this just means we have to come back to Alaska again. 🙂
