We rented a car and had a great day checking out so many sites around the Golden Circle on our own… we stopped at Kerid Crater, Faxi waterfall where we had lunch, Gullfoss, Strokkur, and Þingvellir National Park. Stood on that tectonic divide with one foot in North America continental plate, and other foot in Europe plate. Then checked out the Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavik once we drove back to town. It was really a great fun-filled sightseeing day.
